The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap is an easy to program outdoor access solution, designed with your cat's safety in mind. It recognises your pet's existing microchip or the Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag (sold separately) to exclusively open for them whilst preventing other animals from entering your home. The selective entry provides your cats with increased security against other animals and helps reduce the risk of territorial stress and scent marking.The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap can be installed in doors, windows, and walls. The exterior of the cat flap measures 210mm (W) x 210mm (H). For fitting into doors a hole size of 165mm (W) x 171mm (H) is required. The cat flap is suitable as a drop-in replacement for most standard-sized cat flaps. For wall installations, the tunnel length is 70mm (D) and the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Tunnel Extender (sold separately) may be required for thicker walls. When mounting in glass, a circular hole with a diameter of 212mm should be cut. The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Mounting Adapter (sold separately) is needed to mount the cat flap and cover any remaining space. It allows mounting into holes with a diameter of 212mm (min) to 260mm (max).With a clean and minimalist design that doesn't require a mains connection and available in white, brown and grey/white, the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap suits many homes and easily blends in with most home decor.Battery powered (4 x AA, not included) with up to 12 months battery life and a "battery low" indicator LED.
