Cast aluminium mounting riveted to a tempered steel blade with V shaped notches . With a durasoft handle for reduced fatigue. This Marshalltown V Notched Trowel is used to spread adhesive on the base surface before laying tiles, carpet or other flooring. The 4mm (W) x 5.5mm (D) V notches help to control the depth and amount of adhesive being applied whilst creating a continuous zig-zag pattern in the mortar making a stronger bond between the tile and surface area. The blade is manufactured from tempered steel and riveted to the cast aluminium alloy mounting offering excellent durability.
