John Guest Speedfit products blend push-fit and multi-seal technology for a reliable leak-proof connection. Simple to install and no tools are required when installing or demounting fittings, making it easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces or readjust joins. Speedfit's extensive choice of plastic, brass and chrome fittings, tap connectors, valves and flexi hoses gives you everything you need to complete the job in no time. By combining these products with plastic push-fit pipe, you can create a truly flexible plumbing and heating system. All products are accredited with the leading testing and approval organisations including WRAS and are suitable for use with plastic or copper pipe. The JG Speedfit Layflat Polybutylene barrier pipe has even greater flexibility making the system very easy to handle and worry-free. The pipe is ideal for long runs where a softer pipe material is an advantage so cabling through joists becomes a simple task and when removed from the coil the pipe lays flat meaning it stays flat. The pipe is made of 5 layers, the centre of which is a coloured oxygen barrier which prevents the ingress of air into the system, reducing the effect of corrosion on metal components. Due to its low thermal conductivity, when carrying hot water, Speedfit Pipe is cooler and therefore safer to touch. It is recommended inserts are used on all Speedfit pipe connections. * Lays flat, stays flat, and ultra flexible * Easy to handle and ideal for cabling through joists * Suitable for hot and cold water services, central heating systems and combi systems * BS EN 7291 parts 1, 2, 3 and S, WRAS approved * Secure and easy demounting without the need for a tool * 50 year manufacturers guarantee * Minimum operating temperature - 20 degC * Maximum operating temperature - 105 degC * Maximum operating pressure at minimum temperature - 12 BAR * Maximum operating pressure at maximum temperature - 3 BAR Looking for greater flexibility than you'd get with standard polybutylene and PEX pipe?
