It can be used for walls, ceilings and dry linings, and is for indoor use only. It's acoustic-rated to BS EN ISO 140/3 requirements (the measurement of sound insulation in buildings and of building elements) and is also non-flammable. As the name Everflex suggests, the sealant is permanently flexible throughout its working life, allowing for natural movement. The high-strength silicone is solvent-free, making it more pleasant to work with. Unlike many sealants, the white Everflex AC50 can be painted over.
