Dc fix vinyl film has a high rating for adhesion, opacity, lightfastness and durability, with a water based low tack adhesive, it allows you to reposition the vinyl during application. Quick and easy to apply to clean, smooth flat surfaces, simply remove the backing paper little by little, smooth into place using a dc fix smoother, moving from one side to the other to eliminate any air bubbles that may have formed. If you make a mistake, peel back and start again. The film is heat resistant to 75C so OK for hot cups and plates, but not hot pans, always use worktop savers to protect the vinyl and keep at least 12 inches away from naked flames - not to be used as a splashback behind hobs. Use sealant around sinks and hobs to make it water tight, a hairdryer can be used on curved edges to make the vinyl more pliable, careful not to stretch it. The film is fully removable, use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive first and warm soapy water to remove any remaining residue. Wipe clean with a regular household cleaner, do not scrub. Wipe up any spillages that may stain straight away eg. curry. If you damage the vinyl, it can easily be removed and replaced with a new piece, if cared for it should last years.
